Larry Stewart founded Stewart Electric Company, Inc. in 1976, in Huntsville, Alabama. The company began with a handful of employees working with Stewart to offer standard, small commercial and industrial electrical services.
Today, Stewart Electric Company, Inc. is one of the longest-standing electrical companies in the Huntsville area. The company has grown to a staff of more than 85 employees, offering major electrical services across the southeast United States.

Stewart Electric Company, Inc. is a member of a variety of community and trade organizations, because staying connected helps further education and camaraderie among industry workers.
In fact, Larry Stewart helped to found and establish the North Alabama Craft Training Foundation of Apprenticeship Training, a nonprofit, state-accredited organization, focused on industry training. Stewart Electric Company, Inc. representatives still serve on the NACTF board.
